THE MOUNTAIN REMEMBERS
An art project created in and for the mountains
The Mountain Remembers was created exclusively for the Gampen Lodges in St. Anton am Arlberg, with the aim of bringing the beauty and mystery of the surrounding landscapes into every apartment. This series invites you to stand still for a moment and feel the magnetic presence of the mountains: their drama, their patience, and their unspoken conversations with the sky.
Using deep, moody tones and intricate ink details, I build landscapes that are less about what the eye sees and more about what the soul remembers.
Inspired by the Alps
The paintings blend bold color themes with detailed linework, capturing the essence of mountains, trees, and natural textures. The large works immerse viewers in dramatic, moody scenes, while the smaller pieces offer more intimate glimpses of nature.

Each apartment holds its own color story, and the series was created to mirror and expand upon their atmospheres. The tones and textures become an extension of the space, reflecting their character and becoming part of their heartbeat.

My art explores the dialogue between contrasts that shape both nature and the human spirit: beauty and pain, silence and intensity — expressed through organic washes of color intertwined with mechanical, almost computerized linework.
